Rubber stamping club, which costs only time and postage stamps - for more info visit www.ukstampersnetwork.com - great for crafters who just love stamping and receiving cards/books/projects through the door.
Our son, James 17, will be exhibiting his woodturned items at the Inspired Crafts Show, Swallowfield Parish Hall, near Reading, RG7 1QX, free entry, on the following 2013 dates:
to be advised
This is a really lovely craft show with handmade jewellery, fantastic wooden cheeseboards, handmade soaps & smellies, aromatherapy products, handmade cards, funky bits for the home, jams & hampers, local grown flowers & plants, glass designs, and James' woodturned products from wine bottle stoppers to bowls.
But the very best bit for me is the Sugarstands Cafe - I am sure they charged me 50p for a cuppa and £1 for a piece of homemade cake. I think they also provide light lunches - or you can buy the homemade cakes to take home.
I entered the raffle in November 2011, when I went to collect James and won the raffle, a slate tile with about 7 different cheeses, cheese knife and garnish - yum. It was the perfect excuse to ring some friends for a glass of wine & a catch up.
